I haven't written a journal since last year... but nothing exciting has really happened since then so...


So yeah... updates on sparklevamp's life... well in two weeks I get my cosmetology license, I just got back from a Europe trip where the bus forgot me in Crete, I'm going to the Paramore/Fall Out Boy concert soon, I just bought tickets to The 1975 in November, and I spent all last night reblogging Percy Jackson slash fanart and crying.

Won a contest, got a membership, Fanfic [UPDATE!!]

Thus, I got a month long premium membership! :iconwoohooplz: But sadly, I got the month long premium membership... a month ago. :icontearplz: Well, 3 weeks ago really. I haven't used it much except to make one poll about me placing in it. I haven't had time to frolic gayly with my premium membership because I've been so fucking busy making 100 Valentines and writing a Twilight fanfiction for a contest.

The contest was to write a story based off the song Ho Hey by the Lumineers (:love:). It's called A Bus To Chinatown I meant to make it three chapters but instead it's just one intensely long chapter. The reason I'm telling anybody who reads this journal this is because I would really really love if you guys would go and review it. I'm real self conscious about the story because I worked super hard on it and I just want some feedback. I mean, don't just go over and bull shit a review without reading it just to appease me. I want people to love it as much as I do.

Here's the summary:
"I love the middle of the bus because you can see where you're going just as equally as where you've been. Except when it turns corners. This is my story about pen pals, rocking chairs, and becoming best friends with a girl I'd never met."

Please please PLEASE help me out guys! More reviews means more people will think it's good and read it, and the more who read it will like it and vote for me. It takes me for-fucking-ever to write stuff, so I'd like to win SOME placement in the contest, even if it's only third. I hate my shameless promoting, but I'm desperate here.
